How was your bridal shower?

It was really nice and I got a lot of really nice things. My mom and her bff and my BMs put a lot of time and $$ into it and it def showed. The food was great, beautiful decorations, fun games and amazing gifts to go to the winners!

But Joshs family was there so you knoow there had to be drama. I know Im holding onto it more than need be but Josh and I are truely in awe at how rude, disrespectful, and ungrateful his family can be.

1 of his step-aunts made the comment: "I called my daughter to see if she wanted to carpool but she didnt even get an invite to the damn wedding!" - Keep in mind her daughter got married last summer and Joshs brothers were invited, but we werent.

Then his moms sister. Oh god. Asked my mom if she had coffee and mom apologized and said shes not a coffee drinker so she totally forgot. Aunt turns to her daughter and says "Who the hell has a party without coffee?" Then we're playin the game where you look at items on a tray n see how many u can remember. My BM says "now theres a twist! I was wearin 5 items and am not now...1 point each if you know what they were." Aunt says (or rather yells) "Are you kidding me?! I didnt know that rule! Im not playing this ridiculous game if you cant give us all the rules first!" THEN (same) BM is feeding her baby in the bathroom, aunt knocks, BM says "hold on a sec!" Aunt walks in "Ugh. This is why I knocked! I dont need to see this!"

Josh showed up and I pulled him aside and cried. I dont what bug was up her butt, but she was so incredibly rude.

Wow... sounds like an interesting day.  Hopefully all of the positives outweighed all the rudeness.
Aren't you super thrilled to be marrying inot that family?  Yikes.

Haha thrilled isnt exactly the word I would use!

Josh said he cant wait till I graduate so we can move far, far away!
