Shoe help!!!

So I am getting married in July and finding shoes to go with my dress is really stressing me out.

First I originally always said I would get married in flats. I wanted a flat sparkly sandel and I thought I found it. The Calvin Klein Nadia BUT I cannot find my size anywhere!!!! I have seen other flats that I liked but not that I loved....

So then I started toying with a heel maybe 2-3 inches. This would make me even with my fiance and that isn't really what I pictured. I have always been taller and I like being  a little smaller than my Fiance... I love the idea of a fuschia pump BUT I wouldn't want to wear it all night...

Leading me to the next question. Can I wear a small heel (2-3 inches) for the ceremony and then a flat for the reception? I know people who have done it but a wedding I attending last year... a bride did that and it looked like she was falling all over her dress during the reception. Now I am not sure if it was because she was drunk or because she was struggling with the dress because of the difference in shoe.

Any insight would be awesome!!!

It can definitely be done (different height shoes) BUT you absolutely must take them with you for alterations... BOTH pairs.
If you have a good alterations specialist, they can make it work... you just have to give them a solid picture of what you are working with.
It may end up that the dress is a little short in the front (which actually works out good for walking and showing a little peep of your cute pumps) then he/she would need to make sure the bustle is done juuuuuust right so the back doesn't drag when you switch to flats.
I am doing the opposite... going barefoot for the ceremony (I am really scared that I would trip in shoes and look like an idiot) then throwing on some sweet pruple peep toes for the reception.
The alterations lady said no prob, I just have to make sure I have the pair of shoes I want when I have the bustle done.

I am sure you cna find someone who can make it work.
