engagement photos

My fiance and I are getting our engagement photos done in the fall because we want to incorporate the beautiful fall colors. We were planning on having it in the Syracuse area, any recommendations? We wanted to do maybe a historical site but still incorporating the trees and the changing colors of the leaves or we were thinking maybe a winery, any thoughts?

thank you so much guys, I didnt think of SU! We currently live in Long Island , and I'm from around this area and my fiance is from Rome, NY so we really arent familiar with Syracuse. But SU would be a wonderful idea! Thanks again.

There's a really nice park near SU - Thorden Park.  They have a small lily pond that's popular for pictures as well as a rose garden and an amphitheater.  http://www.syracuse.ny.us/parks/thorndenPark.html
