Invitation opinions (PIP)

Hi,
I am having a hard time deciding if this is what I want to do with for our invites. I thought I would try this design out from Wedding Paper Divas.
Here is the invitation:

You can't see it here, but the flowers are pinkish. I'm not sure how I feel about that.
Here are the response cards:

The background is also pink. (I didn't realize that when I looked at it online)
Here is everything in the pocketfold:
We will probably also have an accommodations/directions card in, but don't need a reception card because the reception is at the same venue as the ceremony.

Do you think the silver is too shiny and/or too much?
Please give me your feedback! Smile

Also, I had envelopes made with our return address as:
'My Last Name FI Last Name Wedding'
Our Address

Can I put our first names with our address or are our last names ok? (My last name is hyphenated, so it's really long on the back)

TIA!

hmm.... TBH- I like the invites... and I like the pocketfolds... but I don't think they go together all that well.  That said, I don't think it's a necessity to match the 2, but I am pretty compulsive about that sort of stuff so I would want the to match perfectly.

I couldn't tell the flowers were pink at first, but against the silver pocketfolld the pink is much more noticeable.  Perhaps if the flowers were blue it would flow a little better.... dunno....

    Very cute though!

As far as the names, we just made the return address like we address everything else.  Ms. Monica Lastname and Mr. Kevin Lastname... address.  I think addressing something to Lastname and Lastname Wedding is a little odd.... like it's a foundation or corporation.  lol

    Thanks Monica! :)

I never thought about it sounding like a corporation! HAHA! I guess I'll have to change it.

    I really like the design!

Like Monica, I couldn't really tell they were pink from the photo, so I think you'll have to decide on that one.  They would look great in white for sure!

I also agree that with blue and pink, silver might not be the best color for pocketfolds.  Something that either matches the colors or is white/ivory might be better.

And just a side note, putting "in the evening" after the time isn't really necessary as people will know that you mean 6pm and not 6am.

We have the same reply date!  Not that mine are done yet, but that's what I'm planning on.

Thanks Sarah! I'm looking at the website and trying to find a matching pocket fold, there is brown, black, green and gold, no white/ivory. Oh, the bolded part, when I filled out the personalization on the invitation, it did that for me. I guess I could just delete it.

    Thanks!

I like them. I get what pp's were saying about the colors but Im not super picky about alot, invitations being a big one. Mine had to look wedding-y, not horribly ugly, and have the right info...wam bam thank you ma'am!

I kinda like the dark blue with the *wam* of silver. Makes it all stand out!

Just another opinion... the "in the evening" part does add formality to it.  It's common to have it on wedding invitations.  I'd leave it :).
