Has anyone ordered a dress from House of Brides online? I saw the one I tried on at a local store for $140 less

    I haven't personally used them, but I was going to suggest trying to have the bridal store price match.  Some of the stores will match the price of another dress.  For my bm's dresses I found them about $60 less online and printed the picture showing the dress, style #, price, etc. and took it into the store.  They did it without a fuss at all.  Might be an option for you, too!

    I have heard bad things and their brick and mortar store in Chicago gets terrible reviews. I would check the other online places that get regular raves: www.netbride.com www.rkbridal.com www.pearlsplace.com

    One of my bridesmaids recommended that site, she used it for her wedding and all my bridesmaids and even the flower girl ordered their dresses from this site.  Only one bridesmaid had a problem.  It's taking a little longer for them to ship her dress.  Fortunately my aunt is altering all their dresses, otherwise that could be an issue.  Their shipping time is about 2months, so if you use them give yourself plenty of time in case shipping is delayed.
