Anyone taking the class now or has taken it recently? I personally do not feel that this is something that should be required, and if so, I REALLY don't feel that you should have to show and talk about your charting with the instructors. So, to my next question...does anyone know where I can find what a normal chart would look like so that I have something to take to class?(I'd like to say in advance, No offense to those who follow this method, but I personally don't agree with the church forcing it upon people.)

But that's part of being Catholic.  That's what Catholics believe in. FTR - I agree with you 110%.  I would just google "natural family planning chart" and see what you find.

I tried that, but most are blanks charts.

Am I missing something? I didn't have to take a NFP class to get married at our Catholic church! They didn't even tell me about it! I guess I'm a bad Catholic...so off to do some internet research! These charts look confusing..........

hrparker- Thanks! I never thought to search google images, I was just search through the web part of the google search engine. Ellyn-I know they just started REQUIRING it sometime this year. They used to just recommend it, but now make you.

Pink Stripe - we just finished the classes - they require you to GO but they do not check the homework or make you check your charts. We didn't fill out a single chart.

Before leaving the first class, they told us that we had to sign up to meet with one of the two instructors for when we get to the 2nd class to go over things.

Their names are Mike and Karen. He is like the head guy of the program. Yeah, lucky me.  :- (
