Gloves?

Okay so I've been thinking about this for awhile now, and want some input. What do you ladies think about gloves? My dress is a satin ball gown, and it's pretty simple besides some crystals around the middle and some ruffling. I think some elbow or opera length gloves for the ceremony would give it a little something extra, but gloves don't really seem to be popular today. Would they be too much? Too old fashioned?

    I think it could be cool if it fits your dress and venue.  I remember reading a blurb somewhere recently that said they were coming back in.

    I heard they were coming back in too, so go for it if you want to!  I'm sure you could find some gloves that don't look old fashioned (and some that do lol).

    I think I'll definately see what they look like with my dress when I go for my fitting next month. I can always take them off if I want, so I might as well go for it. Thanks for the input!
