How many photographers?

Ok so I need to send my balance to my photographer like...yesterday, but I cant decide on 1 or 2 photographers...

We're lookin at approx 140-150 people. If I get a second it will be for ceremony & reception- $200 extra.

Thoughts?

We are going to have 2 for the getting ready part and the ceremony but not the reception.  Honestly, it's just part of the package and not something we would have spent money on if it wasn't included.

For me, the getting ready isn't a big deal as boys only tend to take a few pictures and the "getting ready" part can be staged (i.e. groom looking in mirror tying tie) and I don't want any pictures of me until my hair and makeup is pretty much done.

The only part where I can see it being a big deal is the trip down the aisle (and/or first look photos) when you really want to capture the expressions of both of you.

See I wont be getting pics of the boys getting ready. Unless by some miracle we get ready first and the photographer goes to him. The 2nd photographer would just be there for the ceremony/reception...but I do agree that 4 eyes are better than 2 so Ill go with 2 people.

Glad you're going with 2.  You will want to have pictures of both you and Josh when walking down the aisle.  That first "moment" when you first see each other will be priceless.  Definitely 2 to get it best!!

We had 2 and it was great! the different angles they got for the same shots and all the variety at the reception is well worth it.
