fun activities location for kids and adults?

I'm looking for an kid and adult chuck e. cheese type place in Syracuse-area.  I'm thinking of having a laid back rehersal BBQ wherever we decide on.

I can think of Big Don's in Cicero - they have mini golf, a maze, and some other stuff. I know that Spinning Wheel has minigolf, horseshoes, and a kid's area. And of course there's the MOST.

I just wanted to throw it out there and ask if you guys know of any other activty places that might be another good option.  Thoughts please?

Tough... Syracuse really does have a lack of fun kid AND adult things.  Spinning Wheel is huge and has a variety of different activities.  I'm not familiar with Big Don's.  We just rented a guest house and had a huge BBQ with some outdoor games.  It was a blast.  I love the idea of a fun, informal RD... the ceremony/reception were pretty formal for us and it was nice to see our guests relaxing and having a great time at the RD (we invited all OOT guests and called it a "welcome dinner")... waaaay better than a stuffy RD

I have heard great things about the Syracuse Zoo.  Not sure if this is too "kid friendly" for you though!

That's actually where we're having the wedding reception -- at the zoo.  :)  So of course I'm looking for something diff for the rehearsal dinner.

The house I rented was on Seneca Lake... about a 45 minute drive.  It was the guest house at Glenora, but there are tons of private houses availabel for rent around the lake.  It worked out perfect for our guests, who were staying out there anyway.  It miht be a bit too far of a drive for you.

As for the Syracuse area... maybe check around Oneida Lake... I know there are many houses out that way that are sort of like vacation homes for $$$ people... perhaps you can snag one for the day?
