Photographer Booked!!!!!

Okay Ladies so I have been going back and forth w the photography thing and quite frankly I was getting very tired w it. I was suppossed to take another photographer my deposit this am and last night something told me to email Lucky Clover to see if by any chance they could meet w me today.  She was able to meet me and I drove (seems like to the other side of the world) and It was Totally worth it. I booked w them on the spot.I have only really loved 2 other photographers who were extremly expensive and their work is just as good and reasonable...I am so happy that I waited until I really felt comfortable w the work the album and the people taking the pics..

Just stay on top of them....their work is great but customer service skills are lacking...hope you have a better experience.

I agree, I love Lucky Clover....but it does take awhile to get your pics. I had my bpic done at the beginning of July and still haven't seen the proofs. My mom and I are getting anxious.

Congrats!  We're using this for our wedding in 3 weeks! I've had a great experience with them all around.  My e-pics were ready pretty fast.  The bpics took a tad longer, but I was okay with it.  I was sort of last on the list to get done since some girls needed theirs immediately and I didn't need mine until October. One of the reasons they take a little longer to get the pics uploaded (which is a huge plus in my book) is because they edit every single picture before you see it so that you have a final product to look at.  A lot of photographers just upload the raw shots and then will edit the ones you want printed...so you never REALLY get to see the final product until you order.  Also - wedding season is busy for any photographer as far as getting pictures done.  They take probably 2000-3000 shots.  I'd think it would take a long time to go through, pick the good ones, and then edit.

Thanks everyone. Ms Shawty is that you up under the umbrella in her advertisement? How did they charge for the b pics? I had never even heard of this until being on the knot, and where did you all take them at? Well how was the whole experience?I am so excited about it my e-pic session is scheduled for Oct 25 cant wait...

That IS me under the umbrella!  B-pics are an option for your groom as a gift.  I joined in on a marathon (their first) in April.  They had 1 hour time slots.  They booked 2 rooms that had an adjoining door.  It was really fun!!!  They served some wine and snacks.  The wine helped to loosen me up a little for the risque photo shoot.  They charge about $200 for the shoot and give you the CD with rights to print (if you want it) and a coffee table style book with up to 30 pages.  You choose the photos to use from a password protected online gallery.  Out of the 50 or so images I was given to choose from, I LOVED 28 or so of them.  So she'll be putting those in my book. In reference to not getting them in a timely manner, I was given my shots on the online gallery a few weeks after my shoot.  I still haven't seen my book proof and won't until next week BECAUSE I didn't need it until now.  She has a super fast turnaround on her book orders (like just a couple of days).  She didn't want the book sitting around her house, and I def don't want it sitting around MY house, so she's going to order it one week before my wedding.  Therefore, I'll get my book proof next week.  But I know that she'll come through like she has all along so it doesn't get my panties all bunched up to not have the proof yet.

Thanks so much Erin and by the way your epics are beautiful and Katie said that you all were a blast. I am truly excited about it. I emailed her about taking the b-pics I think my Fi would love it. That sounds like a really good deal. Gotta work out hard and fast. LOL
