Stressed

I feel like I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing for my reception decor!  I've spent a long time looking at things, but when it comes to making decisions, I am kinda paralyzed.  I just bought 72 votive holders & candles online to go on my reception tables around the centerpiece -- and now I'm freaking out.  Should I have spent this money?  They were cheaper in Michael's, but I like the look of these better.  Do I need more?  Should I put ribbon on them?  If not, how do I incorporate my royal blue color into my table layout?

Aaah!  Don't mind me, hopefully this will pass.

    Do you have pictures?  Maybe we can help.

    Or just drink a big glass of wine.  That fixes everything.

    Wine = necessary.

    I don't really have a picture of anything right now to show you, but here are the votives (all will be clear glass with white candle).  Centerpieces will be a mix of different yellow flowers, so I'm trying to pull blue back into the theme somehow.  I feel like maybe ribbons are unnecessary since the shape of these is attractive.  Maybe I do blue placecards and/or blue table numbers and/or have blue trim on the favors (set on the table) to pull in that color some more...

    OK, calming down slightly.  Just talking it out a little bit makes it seem more manageable.  :)

    Are you going to have anything under the centerpieces? Maybe consider doing a blue runner or something if you want to have the color in there.

    What will you have the flowers in?  Maybe you can wrap the vase/glass w/ a blue ribbon... ?  Or find some sort of blue spray to mix in with the flowers?  Or Blue table runners?

    Or wine.  I enjoyed a delicious blueberry wine last night.  Slightly off topic... but it was blue.... sort of....

    I tied 1 of my colors in with my table numbers and the other with the table cover. Just a thought.

    oooohhhh... found these on the classifieds board...

    If you can find something like this in blue, it would look really cool mixed in w/ some yellow flowers for a pop of color.  Then maybe a ribbon around the vase.

    Ooo I second Monicas! Try Michaels. My mom has some at home (totallyforgot) from a wedding we went to and they had sparkly gold in with the flowers and it looked so cool.
