Don't think I like it.

Does anyone post over there? Those girls... like... talk about books and stuff. lol

I dunno... I know I'm an old married lady now, but I don't think I am ready to graduate to the Nest yet. You guys are stuck with me for a while.

I was soooo just gunna post this! I was over there lookin around and while I love the site...not so much the forums.

I tried introducing myself and got like 2 responses. And after that theres been like 10 threads started...and this was like 2-3 weeks ago! Definitely slow and a bit boring. Im all for reading, but I dont enjoy book clubs. Im only 25 for petes sake. Are there any newlywed-young partiers over there? Ugh. No thanks!

Oh, and Im a little irritated that when I sign on to TK, I get redirected to TN now that Im married. If I wanted to be there, I would have typed www.thenest.com into the nav bar. Please.

Lol! Glad I'm not the only one. This board is so lively and fun... that board makes me feel like I should be sitting at home knitting and watching soaps. pffff

BTW- I saw your intro post and the handful of responses. Snoooze.... lol... no one seemed all that enthused about a newbie. So lame!!!

You did scare me a little though cause me and a few of my friends decided we want to learn to crochet..so we do wine and crochet nights every once ina while....alot more wine drinking than crocheting...so i guess i am starting to act like an old married woman

I get emails from TN every once in a while and a few times, I've clicked on the discussion threads at the bottom. They've always turned out to be weird! When my time comes, I won't be "nesting" either.

Lol!!! Wine + anything lame = automatically less lame.

If I ever attempted to crochet, knit or do anything involving string/yarn, I would end up tied in knots. Add wine to the mix and... oh boy... I don't even want to think about it. I will just stick to drinking wine.

Sure....like the casino area maybe? I would volunteer my house, but we are still in our starter home and there's not alot of sqaure footage....and I can't guarentee nice weather in CNY....to have it in our yard/or on the deck.!
