I wish that when strangers call my office, they wouldn't start the phone conversation with, "Hello, how are you?"  They often don't even say their name.  I'm fine; please get to the point b/c neither of us really wants to have a personal chat; you just want to ask a question about admissions and I just want to answer it and get you off the phone!

My coworkers havent shut up about American Idol since I walked in the door. For those who dont watch, the girl voted off is beautiful and has a great voice. A ton of people had her takin it to the end. I had her going home! Shes boring. A great voice means nothing if you stand in one place every performance and sing ballads. Then Wed she tried rockin out and it just didnt work. Ok well Goodbye!! Im sooo glad shes gone. I was so sick of falling asleep during her performances.

My coworkers took it to a whole new level, whining about how they wouldnt watch it b/c its unfair she left and told me not to talk to them cuz I dont know what Im talking about and waaaa waaaa waaaaa.

Im sorry do you vote? No? Ok then STFU!  The judges dont decide who goes home, America does! Apparently enough people felt she wasnt worth keeping around b/c she got the least amount of votes! SHUT UP!

I'm annoyed with the gf of one of FI's friends. She is friends with my friend who got engaged last week. My FI told me that she was complaining that this friend that just got engaged hadn't asked her to be in the WP and she feels she should be in the WP because she was the one that got them together.

I mean, come on!!!   It's only been a week!!! For crying out loud!! Let them enjoy their engagement and if/when she's ready, she'll ask you! Plus, they don't know when they're getting married to begin with!

I'm annoyed that my sister keeps giving me a guilt trip and sending me "woe-is-me" text msgs because "everyone close to her is engaged" and she just broke up with her long-term boyfriend. Yes, it's a pity that it didn't work out for her, but I refuse to feel guilty for getting engaged! Be a bigger person and be happy for me! Or at least keep it to yourself!
