Wedding Update Wednesday

(That feels like a Tuesday... haha)

I hope everyone had a great new years.  

I haven't gotten much done, but I did find the envelopes I'm going to use.  Because I am insane... and I made my own pocketfold envelopes I now also have to make my own envelopes since they don't fit normal ones... They're like an inch smaller width-wise and I think it looks silly.  I'm actually using scrapbook paper that is on sale... it was kind of a whim last night... I was just going to look (of course) but ended up purchasing a bunch of paper... now I have to hit up the Michael's in Camillus to get the rest of the paper I'm looking for...

FI picked out his tux, and tuxes for the guys/dads. 

We printed invitations last week, and am now putting the finishing touches on these. (Invites won't go out until May, but with an 18 credit semester, its nice to have these done early!!) 

Called the church to begin Pre Cana (sp?) and start planning out the ceremony. 

The biggest thing that we got done was that my mom and I sat down and made a list  of EVERYTHING that still needs to be done. I am sure we forgot something, or will add more to the list later, but it really helped to see just how many little things we have to do and cannot forget about.

Didn't do much this weekend because we went away, but I'm super excited right now because I'm probably ordering invitations tonight!  The design FI and I agreed on is from The Green Kangaroo, and they have sales every few weeks for one day only.  Today is 10% off invitations!  As soon as I get the ok from FI, I'll place the order!   I'll probably post the proof for you ladies to double check for me, I'd hate to write something incorrectly.

Aww..you girls are actually making me miss wedding planning...a little!  Good luck wtih everything!

BAH! We met with our invitation designer person yesterday and have florist apointments this Saturday! I am feeling overwhelmed.

I've done...nothing. Oops! I guess I should probably start looking for an officiant. No idea how to go about that when we want something non-religious.

We started looking at photographer packages the other day. Verye xcited to get further into planning!

I think if you call your county, city,  town or village offices they can tell you the JOP's in your area. Always can try the google too!
