Need your planning tip!

Hey Knotties,

We're rounding up planning tips and tricks for the New York/CT magazine and want your ideas! Basically, we're looking for the most insider planning secrets in the area. For example, is there a spot you plan to take your out-of-town guests for brunch? Where did you find the perfect wedding night lingerie? Anything tip-wise, small or large, will work. Submit and your tip could be featured in the next magazine!

THank you!

Food:  Always take my OOT guests to Dinosaur BBQ, Syracuse
    Intimate Dinner: Francesca's- Syracuse
Girl's night or place to kick off a bachelorette party: Bittersweet- Syracuse
    Gown:  NY Bride- North Syracuse
    Lingere: Isadora- Syracuse
    Hair:  Artistry at Hanover- Syracuse
    Makeup: Sephora- Carousel Mall, Syracuse
Thing to do for OOT guests:  Wine tour in the Finger Lakes... it's breathtaking
Also best bachelorette party- Wine tour via limo or trolley around Seneca Lake
Dream Venue:  The Inn at Glenora Vineyards- Seneca Lake

Overall Tip:  NO ONE will ever care about my wedding as much as I do... not my friends, my BMs, my coworkers, my parents, his parents, even my fellow knotties or my future husband.  When wedding talk consumes me, I try to remember that life will go on after the wedding is over.  Married life.  And I want my married life to include friends... so I try to not drown them in my wedding planning.  I ask for advice or help... occasionally... but I try to keep regular girls nights and date nights a priority... with no wedding talk allowed.  It keeps me grounded.

Although usually when NY and CT are lumped together, it's more for New York City.... so.... don't know if this will be very helpful since these places are all western/central/upstate
