Mary Kay Makeup???

So, a friend of mine is having a MK party on Thursday.  Anyone have any rec's for really good makeup for the wedding day?  Primers maybe?

I had a trial with MK and I really liked their lip primer. I like MK makeup, but it doesn't seem like it lasts very long.

I used to use Mary Kay and quit after a year or more.  I agree w/ pp that it didn't last long.  Maybe they have changed their products recently, but it was only about 2 years ago that I stopped using their stuff.  I used their eyeshadow, lip gloss, lipstick...

A friend had MK makeup done for her wedding and all of us BMs did too. I agree w/pp in that it didn't seem to last long (we all kind of notcied that we needed touch ups in the latter evening pictures). However, maybe you could try it out with model in a bottle, since you already have that? that definitely was not an option 7 years ago (I don't think).

I have always had trouble keeping my makeup on.  I am not a huge fan of MK products, but have had luck with the eye primer.  It holds my eyeshadow on all day.

eh I don't care for their make-up either and it's still pretty expensive...i think the eye primer is okay, but creases on me...

I went with a onsite makeup artist for my wedding. She came to me the day of my wedding and also she did a trial run so I could see what my makeup would look like. She did an amzing job! I coudlnt of been happier with my makeup. She did all of my bridesmaids too! My photos turned out amazing because of our makeup! Her name was Crystal and I high reccomend her! She left me with my lipgloss and I also had her put false lashes on me! My bridemaids and mother also kept their lipgloss and lashes too! She was super sweet and did wonderful makeup.
