    Definitely not bragging, but trying on my dress was a huge highlight of my week.  I've been browsing the internet for invitations, but don't plan on ordering them until October.  I really like Vibrant Vineyard on Wedding Paper Divas, and this week I found another nice one on Etsy.  Still have plenty of time to search for the perfect invite.  Hope everyone had a great week!

    1. Met with caterer to discuss linens and some other stuff.  Realized that I know nothing and have a very fuzzy vision of what I want my tables to look like.  Feel like a major slacker and am a bit stressed now.

    2. Had bridal shower!  Started writing thank you notes last night.  5 done, a million to go -- those 5 took forever!  Hopefully I'll get into a groove.

    3. Bought baskets to potentially put programs and/or birdseed packets in.  I'm always afraid to buy decorative stuff, but I guess I need to get over it and really start making some decisions (see #1).  And these were $1 each, so no big loss if I don't end up using them.

    4. I may have switched my favor from peanut brittle to peanut toffee bites due to shipping restrictions on the PB in warm weather.  Just need FI to approve it.

    Dress fitting is tomorrow!  Eeeee!!!

    My fiance's wonderful parents are throwing us an engagement party at their home on the Jersey Shore this weekend. Approximately 75 of our closest friends and family are coming (from Rochester, D.C., Chicago and beyond).

    I've been preparing for that (and by preparing I mean picking out my outfit because they're taking care of everything else).

    My mom and I worked on some of the candles for the tables. Didn't get much done because my 5 month old nephew was here. I mostly played with him lol

    Also FINALLY made an appt to go to the venue to measure for things, AND so FI can finally see it! We're going tonight at 6! Hope he likes it because it's too late now!

    We set up an appointment to meet with the church tomorrow to go over some things. I also finished registering, since the invites were sent out for my shower last week. I figured I better stop changing things on there and have my final decisions made about what I want.

    Nah!  I keep adding things as I think of them.  And if you want to delete, I don't think it's a big deal as long as it's not part of a set that people have already bought part of.  I changed my everyday silverware about a month ago because no one had bought any yet and I realized that I didn't like it that much!

    My only check for the week is a biggie.... I finally said "YES" to the dress. haha. I finally found the ONE so I'm thrilled about that Laughing

    My last Wednesday before I am a misses... Holy Moly!
    I have been dropping things off to the appropriate places and doing some relaxing. I wrapped all the gifts and tomorrow we are finishing our appointments- final walk through, DJ, and then on to pampering. I never thought this time would come! Wow!

    Called my DJ back to set up our final meeting before the wedding.  Talked to the organist Sunday after church about music.  I think that's about it.  I have to call the priest tomorrow to set up a meeting with him.

    I didn't get that one actually, although I did try it on. I liked it but didn't "love" it.     Oooh, I just looked up Suzette. GORGEOUS!!! I was just wondering because I was just complaining the other day that I have seen my dress on TV and magazines a billion times, and now I have seen it in two different weddings on FB, one being at a wedding that one of my friends was a BM in ... and it's Adorae! I was like ugh, not another local person in "my" dress! Haha. Congrats though, that's exciting!!

    Haha yeah I've noticed that too.
