His Ring/My fake ring...check!

Well, I got his ring ordered. $30 from amazon. W00t! Neither of us saw the point in spending a ton when we both know he'll go through a few so we had his finger sized and bought his tungsten ring online.

I got my fake ring for the honeymoon. I wasnt sure I needed one but he said he'd feel better if I did. Do you know how hard it is to find a cheap, halfway wedding-looking ring in a size 3?! Its a band with 3 CZs...Im cool

Oooo. I did the ultimate shopping no-no. I found what I wanted, bought it...and continued to look.

So in 2 weeks Ill receive my $8 Sterling Silver 3CZ ring.
In a month Ill get my $25 Titanium band with a single CZ. Haha. Oops. Good thing Josh is sleeping!

The way I see it, I have a size 3 finger on the other hand and could use rings for it!

Is it common to do this?  I can't see ever wearing a ring that isn't my engagement ring in it's place.  I understand worrying about losing it... but do you really enjoy your ring if you aren't wearing it?

I'm curious too Bridget!  Are you leaving the real one in Syracuse and just wearing the fake one for the honeymoon...
That's actually not a bad idea.  I lose EVERYTHING!!!  And the last thing I want to do is have my real ring fall off in the water or get stolen from the hotel because I take it off so it doesn't fall off in the water.
Good call.  I might need to do some shopping.

Ive lost my ring...oh 3 times here (dont ask how, Im just that good) and got lucky b/c it was at home, so losing it elsewhere would kill me. So we're gunna leave the real thing in the safe at home just while were on our honeymoon.

Im not really worried about not enjoying the ring while Im on my honeymoon. I dont want to spend the honeymoon worried about losing it. I want to have fun. I know why Im there, having a diff ring on wont change that,

I used to work at TJ Maxx at the jewelry counter and youd actually be surprised how many girls came in looking for a cheap replacement ring for their honeymoon. Thats where I got my idea.

Time to go shopping.  The last thing I want to worry about is WTF did I put my ring or having it slip off in the water.
I get freaked out sometimes at work, b/c it gets loose when I wash my hands (which I do a million times at day at work... hospital....)... amd I am already worried about losing it.
Thanks so much for sharing.  Totally going to do it.  I already have a fake-o e-ring that I wore when I sent my real one to have a stone fixed.  (But it got gray-ish really fast).  Just another excuse to buy something shiney!!

My friend did the same thing. She travels a lot for work and sometimes doesn't wear her ring to meetings & functions. Welp her ring is almost 4 carats so she bought a cheap version of the same ring to take on trips.
