Hmm that might be tricky.. but I would call all the peopl whose work you have seen and ask them if they can customize a package for you within your budget. Our photog has a package for $1900, he did a fantastic job and we got our engagment session for free. His name is Edwin Baker, he is in Baldwinsville. I am sure he can work with you! Good Luck!

Thank you.  I actually already have a photographer and am now thinking of adding a videographer, but I don't want to spend a lot of money on this.  Just looking for something simple and non-intrusive.

I have heard great things about Joe Gibbons mentioned above.
We are using Tim Ferguson of Ferguson Video Productions, but he is a bit over $1,000.

Posted by lisainthecuse[/QUOTE] We are using Tim also, and he was willing to work with us when I told him what my budget was.  Tim also explained that his business isn't a "product" it's a "service" so he doesn't charge tax either, so a , say $1000 pakcage, will only be $1000 plus your tip for him.  His site is great take a look.  If you contact him tell him Sarah Ross referred you--his wife is also a great person too. I'm excited to use them as they did a friends wedding and she raved about him.  I'm not worried in the least.  Good luck!!

I am getting married next September in Manlius. I'm spending a small fortune on my photographer and don't have it in our budget to spend a lot of a videographer. SO, I thought of tapping into my alma mater at Syracuse and asking someone at Newhouse in TRF (television radio and film) or Photography students (since they now are taught video) to do the job. Even $500 for a poor college student is like a month's worth of beer/bar money!

I'm really interested in the new photojournalistic-style wedding videos and figured a senior or grad student could deliver!
