Wedding Update Wednesday

What did you do this week??

Here's my list:

1. Seating chart (was suprisingly easy; don't screw me at the last minute, people)
2. Got the rest of the RSVPs (hence #1)
3. Have all the pieces of escort cards done, but need to assemble them all together (they're in 3 pieces right now)
4. Stamped and folded all of my favor boxes
5. Talked with florist again and dropped off my materials
6. Met with videographer
7. Finally got an aisle runner; I'm not wild about it, but it'll do
8. Determined reception timeline with DJ

10 days!!  So excited!!

    Don't forget to add "stopped checking the weather!" :)

    FI and I are going to Philly on Sept 30th to check out a venue we both love. Making hotel reservations today. Yay!

    I took Vistaprint up on their offer for 140 free return address labels and 10 free invitations. The return address labels will obviously come in handy, and 140 is may more than I need, and the invitations are basically to see the quality of Vistaprint's invites, as I've read mixed reviews. Paid $8 shipping, that's all

    - Met with our DJ to set up the timeline and gave him our list of songs
    - Finally decided on the details for our centerpieces, this is something that has been driving me crazy for months
    -Started working on our seating chart, we are only missing a couple of RSVPs so once we have them all I can finish it

    1)  FI had his Bachelor party (the knot considers this a check!)
    2)  Bought my bachelorette party dress for this Saturday!
    3)  Worked on timelines (for Ceremony, Reception, DJ, Photographer, and full day)
    4)  Started tanning
    5)  Started getting the gel nails so I am positive they will stay long for wedding day

    Concentrating on my brother's wedding...forgot all about mine.

    Baking him a three tier wedding cake (chocolate and vanilla), as well as a sheet cake (pumpkin with cream cheese frosting.)

    Stressing the eff out...oh and I'm in the bridal party. *sigh*

    I always miss the update Wednesday posts.
    1. Did cake tasting and put deposit down for the cake. (YAY!)
    2. Checked out a hotel for out of town guests.
    3. Made an appt for looking at bridesmaids dresses.
    4. Made an appt for a dance class.
