I freaked out

This is probably going to be a P&R because I'm on lunch.  While blowdrying my hair this morning I thought I'd take a look at the Bride's Magazine which has been sitting on my table for weeks, because I haven't even had a chance to get to it.  As I'm flipping through there's about a zillion dress ads and all the labels that I tried on are popping out at me.  I don't know if you guys remember but I tried on over 100 dresses (easily) before I bought mine back in November.  All of the sudden I started freaking out and crying because I felt like I bought the wrong dress, and all I could think about was the Maggie Sottero (Christina) that was in my top choices and cost about $800 less than the Pronovias I ended up with.  I feel like I have to go on a rampage to find/purchase the Maggie!  OMG!  What is wrong with me?  I'm really upset :(.

Ugh that sucks. This is why I'm trying to avoid looking at any more dresses. I tried on tons too, and I'm a very indecisive person, so it was a really tough choice.

Just remember that there is a reason you went with the dress you did, and on the day of your wedding you are going to look beautiful.

Everything else aside, you picked the dress you have for a reason. When you get a chance, put on the dress you bought. Dance around in it a little bit and you'll totally remember why.

I swear it happens to just about everyone. I was at my moms every other week putting the dress on b/c I saw a pic of another one and had a melt down. Do your desk not to look at the dresses. Flip past them if you have to.

    STOP LOOKING AT DRESSES!!!!!

I mean it, missy!!!  You are going to drive yourself bonkers.  You reeeaaaallllly don't want to be one of those 55 bazillion girls on the classifieds board selling their first dress for half price and eating a whole bunch of money b/c they changed their mind and bought a second dress.  Don't do it.

I'm sure the dress you have is absolutely gorgeous.  Like Bridgett said, put it on.  Put on your shoes, veil, accessories... do your makeup and hair.  Fall in love with it again.

You need someone to slap your hand every time you pick up a bridal magazine or look at a website.

Agree with the above advice!  You got your dress for a reason and I'm sure you will look beautiful in it next month!!!

The problem is, I feel like I bought it for the wrong reason.  I was w/3 of my bridesmaids/closest friends and they were in LOVE with it.  I feel like I got caught up in the moment, there was a champange toast, and I was finally DONE.  It all started when I went for my fitting.  I didn't feel put together with the shoes I picked and now I have to find another pair (flats) that I can wear instead.  Also, I was there alone because everyone else had to work, so it wasn't too exciting.  I just found the Christina dress on a website called, "Tiffany's Bridals" for $391.00.  I really don't want to spend any more money, but I also don't want to get married in a dress I don't love.

Yikes... tough situation.  I still wouldn't spend the extra money though, but that's just me.  Also, I would really be wary of any knock off birdal sites.  Lots of those dresses are very cheaply made imitations from China.

I was thinking that when I had the choice to get the dress in about 100 different colors lol.  I'm a little better now.  I do love the Christina dress, but to be honest I can't picture it with my BM dresses, or my hairpiece,or my peacock feather motif.  So, I think once everything is put together I'll be okay :).  Maybe just a moment of cold feet or something...
