Not sure if it was you or not but I can't find the original post.  Did you take you dress to a place in Ft. Thomas?  If you did what was it called and how were their prices?

Hey, Yes I Did! I took it to Alterations by Frances in Ft. Thomas. Frances is wonderful--her prices are great too. I have an entire list of prices, but for example,Take in (or let out) : 20-30Hem: 45Bra Cups: 10Bustle: 10She's doing all that for me, plus making my strapless gown into a sweetheart neck ($10) and adding covered buttons, which i think she said was 10 or 20. Basically, she's doing a TON for like $120! And she had a great personality. Just a warning, she can be hard to get a hold of. If you call her, leave a message, but just keep calling her back from time to time until she answers. She is SO WORTH IT! : ) GL

I don't think you have to have one. You can just take your dress. Of course, if you want to make sure that she doesn't have other clients there at the same time, you might want to make an appt!

Hey! I took my dress to her on 9/9. We are doing a second fitting this wed, 9/23 and she's just going to hang on to my dress until like a week before my wedding which is 10/23.  If you aren't planning on changing sizes at all, losing or gaining weight, she could probably have your dress done in a week or so. Mine just has a LOT to do on it and I'm still sizing down so that's why its taking a bit longer. HTH!
