Help! Florist!

Hello everyone! This is my first post on here..even though I have been engaged for almost a year and just found this! So I found this florist that I really like- Courtenay Lambert Florals in Covington, KY. Their flowers seem beautiful and the prices don't seem bad, but I guess I haven't received many prices from other florists. I am just wanting any kind of feedback so I can make a decision. Other suggestions for florists is appreciated as well. Our ceremony is at St Monica St George by UC and the reception is at Music Hall. Thanks in advance for the feedback and woooo it's almost Friday!!!!! :)

Courtenay Lambert gets great reviews on here, but check out Katie Elfers, too. She's awesome!

She does get good reviews. Also check out Susan Foy (The Wedding Designer).  I found that she really LISTENED to what I wanted and hit the nail on the head with my mockup. Good luck!

If you like Courtenay then go with her, but if you are worried about price, then it wouldn't hurt to get some other quotes. I met with numerous florists and found one that was around my price point & got my vision.

We are using HJ Benkens.  They are more expensive then a lot of the other florists recommended on here, but I really liked Jeff.

marydom.4ever, a tangent question- what were your experiences like working with Fr. Al to have your ceremony at St. Mo-Go?  Was it simple?  How did you coordinate musicians?  I want to consider this church. Thanks so much!

Ditto CF about Katie Elfers at Inspired Floral Design.  She is FANTASTIC.You can see pics in my married bio of the work she did for our wedding, but definitely check out her website, too:ww.katieelfers.com

I looked into Courtenay and she does beautiful work but she is definitely more expensive than some others that do equally beautiful work.  Suggest you get quotes from at least 2 or 3 different people and go not only on the price but how well you feel they "get your vision". Ultimately I went with Rose Braden (www.rosebradenweddings.net).  She hasn't been used as much lately but I know she has since retired from her day job and is now doing flowers as her primary business.  She is very much like a friend during the process and was much more bang for my buck vs. Courtenay.  Review in Bio.

I used Courtenay, just 14 days ago :) She did an amazing job!!!! I hardly gave her any guidance, and when my flowers were delivered the day of the wedding i was amazed! She captured what I had in my mind perfectly. An A++++

thanks for all the suggestions. :) As far as St Monica St George... Father Al is a family friend and so easy to work with. We have only met with him a couple times so we haven't discussed musicians yet. I definitely recommend the church though, it is absolutely beautiful and so far the process has been great!
