Custom Dress Maker - Buffalo, New York?

Hi Everyone:

I am getting married in June 2011, and I am looking for a custom dress maker in the Buffalo, New York area.  I have visited Etsy for inspiration and dress makers, but I am not comfortable not meeting the dress maker before hand.  I want something simple, modern and romantic.

Plan B to this, is to perhaps buy a simple wedding dress and have a seamstress add embellishments to it.

Any suggestions would be helpful!

    I was in a friends wedding a few months ago and we had the dresses made at Dress by Design on Allen Street. They turned out beautifully and the girls were so nice and easy to work with. I think she mentioned that they do wedding dresses too so it might be worth giving them a call!
