1. Ceremony -- St John Vianney, Orchard Park
Father Gallagher was wonderful to work with....extremely accommodating to any requests we had. He also allowed us to personalize the ceremony by substituting one of the normal readings with one that was important to us.
2. Reception -- Salvatore's Italian Gardens
By far, the best decision we made. The package included sooo much, the food was outstanding, and they catered to every single one of our requests. The coordinators were fantastic at returning emails/phone calls promptly and always answered any questions. We received soooo many compliments; would highly recommend them.
3. Photographers -- Nickel City Studios
Rich & Alyssa were fabulous; not only do they have an enormous amount of talent, they are also really fun to work with. Our package included an engagement photo session, so we were able to get to know them before the wedding. We also had the disc with all our images less than two weeks after the wedding.
4. Dress (bride, BM, MOB) -- Bridal Elegance in Erie PA
If you're having trouble finding a dress in Buffalo, I highly recommend driving to Erie and checking this store out. They carry a huge selection of all dresses (bridal, wedding party) and are extremely reasonable. They also have a "cash & carry" pricing for bridesmaids --- basically the dresses are discounted a bit, you just have to pick them up within a week or two of them coming in.
5. Hair --- Jen from The Park Salon, Orchard Park
Jen had done hair for my MOH's wedding last year, so I went to her for a hair trial. She was wonderful to work with --- making sure everything was exactly as I pictured.
6. Cake -- Dessert Deli, Williamsville
We went with the EOP (easy on the pocket) cake, which was one of three designs and they personalized it to match our wedding colors from there. The cake we picked was covered in sugar crystals, so it shimmered under the lights.
7. Limo -- Giorgio's, Lancaster
We booked them at a bridal show, and they quoted us an amazing price (another company wanted us to pay almost double what Giorgio's asked for a similar vehicle). Everything was on time and our driver was very nice.
8. Photobooth -- BKM Photography
We also booked them at a bridal show and were given a discount because of that. BKM was great -- reasonably priced & only required 3hrs (some of the others required 4). He came and set up during dinner and provided us with a scrapbook for guests to leave a copy of their pictures in.
9. Flowers -- Tom Arrigo Florist, Lovejoy
Our flowers were stunning. We worked with Bonnie and she was able to work with everything we asked. We received compliments all day regarding how beautiful the flowers looked.
10. DJ -- CJ Sound
CJ Sound was able to hook into Salvatore's sound system, so the only set-up in the room was a small table, no big speakers by the dance floor. They have a wedding planner online that you fill out with all your requests, and we had a consultation (by phone) a week before the wedding to go over everything. Our DJ really kept the dance floor crowded the entire night --- everyone from my grandma to the wedding party enjoyed the music!
11. Jewelry -- Amherst Diamond Exchange, Williamsville
Paul (the owner) was reccommended to us by a cousin, and we are so glad that he was. He specializes in custom rings and is able to create almost anything. We also ordered DH ring from there (he also engraved it) and could not be happier with the service.
Not sure if there's anything I left out -- let me know if you have any questions!
