After my panic attack last night, I called my photographer first thing this morning to make sure that I had not misunderstood anything in my consultation. So, I confirmed that Innovatory does use a photojournalistic style, which means that he edits photos as needed. He does not give 100% raw photos, but they are not edited in a fake way either. He will try to make things look as natural as possible. He will fix anything such as stains on a garment, or a blemish, anything obvious like that. So for $850, I am getting 2 photographers, all day coverage, engagements shots, the online gallery, and the cd with all the pics and copyrights. I'm pretty happy with that. My first instincts were right. Thanks hrparker for your advice not to let other people talk me out of it
If anyone else on a VERY tight budget is in need of a photographer, I would refer Innovatory.
