Reasonable florists

Hey fellow brides,
My current job is finding and booking my florist.  I heard some good things from Wegmans, so I went there and my quote for all of the ceremony flowers (7 total bouquets, 4 corsages, and 13 boutineers) are going to cost me approx. $650, is that pretty good, or should I look elsewhere too?

I would totally recommend Maureens in Buffalo!! They are so professional and create HUGE boquets! Make an appointment, talk about what you want, and they'll give you a small boquet (one of each of the flowers-ish) to take home.  This way, you know what you're getting flower wise!  I'm using them, and my family has always went there for weddings!!

    $650 isn't bad at all, either :)

I'm using Lipinoga and they are also very reasonable. I would make sit down with them to get a quote and compare. I found that Lipinoga was more willing to work with me than other florists. Other florists made it seem like we were going to run into a problem getting peonies in July (apparently they are out of season?) and Lipinoga told me it wouldn't be a problem!

We are going with Lipinoga, as well. Our quote was around the same price, for 3 BM bouquets, 1 Bridal bouquet, 10 bouts, 6 corsages and eight hydrangea bunches for aisle markers/centerpieces.

Mind you, my BMs are carrying all mini callas, I have some callas in my bouquet, and 7 of the bouts are mini callas. I'm sure if I had used cheaper flowers the quote would have been lower.

Also, they were super friendly! They had so many ideas, which was good because I didn't know what I wanted. My mom and I went back a couple of weeks ago to put a hair flower on there and they were able to do that, no problem.

I second Maureens.  AWESOME place.  She knew exactly what look I was going for -- even before I did!  I showed her a pic of my dress and my girls dresses and told her my venue location, and she said "ill be right back" and pulled pretty much all the flowers I thought i'd want.  She was great with advising me on color choices and bouquet shape, and how to re-use some pieces from the ceremony to the venue.

definitely reccomended to at least go talk to her.  She gives you the test bouquet to keep, too! =)

We are working w/ Jackie at A Blooming Place in Tonawanda. I'm getting my bouquet, 5 add'l bouquets, 6 corsages and 14 boutennieres plus an aisle runner and floral display for the church for $550 including tax.

We are using Maureen's.  She is very reasonable and not too pricey! She knew exactly what I wanted and even came up with other color combinations, as well.
