Bouquet Preservation

Does anyone know of anyone in the area that does this, and around how much it costs? I am leaving the day after my wedding and am also wondering how soon I will have to have it dropped off. TIA!

the florist I just met with recommended FreezeFrameIt.com.  She said to be sure to order the kit BEFORE the wedding so that you can preserve it as fresh as possible.  Haven't tried them yet, obviously... but looks like they have lots of options and price points to work with different budgets.  HTH... if you use them, would love to hear how your experience goes :)

For the life of me I can't remember the name of the company, but if you have one of those bridal planning things, I know its listed in there.  Its in KY.  My mom used them a few years ago when she got married and they did a beautiful job.  I will more than likely be using them as well.  I think her bouquet had to be dropped off within a few days of the wedding to keep it as fresh as possible.

A good friend of mine did Freeze Frame It and it turned out beautiful, but it was like $200-300. They have a lot of other things you can do too though if that is too much for you.

I love what Christine Louie did with her bouquet and I want to do it but just don't know if I have the time or want to put in the effort even though it would be totally worth it.Flowers into paintings dot com (I think). This lady turns your bouquet into a beautiful painting.

Freeze Frame is the only one I know of as well! My friend had it done and it is goregous!! It's been almost 3 years and her bouquet still looks as beautiful as it day the day of her wedding! But like PP said, check out their website and order the stuff beforehand! Maybe you could see if someone could take it to one of their drop off locations for you the next day!?

It was going to cost like $500 to do it through freeze frame. I wanted my whole bouquet so it was going to be very expensive. But my florist said her mother had done a few. So she did mine for like $50, but we had been working closely with them for a long time. I am not sure she would do it as cheap if you don't use them as your florist, but it would be worth calling. The flowers were beautiful. The only thing was you have to provide your own shadow box. My fiance made mine and it turned out beautiful. It looks like a pro did it and I love it. My mom just had to keep the flowers in water until Monday after the wedding and then she took it in and about 2 weeks later it was done. The florist is Two Little Buds.

Thank you all for your great advice. I'm now thinking twice about this. I am getting married Saturday, and don't necessarily think I need to add one more thing to my list of "to do's". I was hoping it would be as easy as having my mom drop it off somewhere on Monday!! Again, thanks!

Definitely Freeze Frame. I had mine done there and they turned out beautifully. They have several drop off points or I think you can get a shipping kit to send them to their shop. Check out their website - I know they have the info on there. (We actually waited nearly a week before we took my flowers in and they still turned out fine.) Pricing depends on what you what you want and they have a lot of options. I think we spent around $150 and had an invitation framed with the flowers from my bouquet. It's worth every cent!

If you don't want to spend a fortune on the whole bouquet preservation, freeze frame does little ornaments where they take a flower out of your bouquet and put them in a glass bulb. It's really neat and cheap.
