I got married on September 18th, and I wanted to give you all some vendor reviews.
Reception: The Inn on the Lake. I worked with Lori Proper and she was a PLEASURE. I was planning from 6 hours away and she did everything we asked and more. The venue was fantastic and everyone raved about the food. We actually had the reception indoors because I was afraid it would be chilly (good call on my part) but the cocktail hour was outside and was perfect. The only downside is that we had around 150 guests, and the dance floor was a bit snug... but that's only because people were dancing all night! I definitely, DEFINITELY recommend this venue.
DJ: Turner Music Productions. They were FANTASTIC. The DJ we had was Pierre and he was so attentive and did absolutely everything we asked of him. Everyone was on the dance floor all night (seriously, until midnight, they had to kick us out!).
Uplighting: Finger Lakes Entertainment. Wow. The room was spectacular. They did a great job. I wanted a soft pink hue, and that is exactly what I got, in all the right places.
Limos: Fitzgerald Brothers Limos. They were professional and on time, and willing to work with my requests. The limos were very clean. I would recommend them in a heartbeat.
Cake: Club 86 Bagels and Cakes. I have mixed reviews here. On one hand, the cake was really good, but on the other hand, the person I worked with wasn't too friendly. I also asked for half red velvet, but there was definitely too much cocoa in it to be considered such. That said, the cake was delicious and looked beautiful.
Flowers: John Palmer at Lagoner's Florist in Williamson, NY. I saved the best for last. He was just unreal. I told him what I was thinking, and he helped me pick out the flowers that he thought would work and put them together EXACTLY how I envisioned everything. He really was spectacular. If you can possibly make it to Lagoner's to meet with him, I would.
