I went there for my hair trial based on recommendations and they refused to do my hair. I have very long, thick hair that I wanted in an up-do for my wedding in July and I even showed them a picture. They said the only way I could accomplish that style was to cut off a good chunk of my hair, or otherwise they could only put in it a bun. There was no way I was paying them to put my hair in a bun! I explained to them how to put my hair up (which I shouldn't even have to do in the first place, after all they are the experts) and they woudn't even try it. They said I'd have to make another appointment because they screwed around for 30 minutes already telling me that I can't do what I want with my hair. I live 5 1/2 hours away down in the NYC area and it's not so easy for me to just pop on up there for another appointment.
I stormed out and took my pictures to another salon that said they could ABSOLUTELY put my hair up that way and that the people at Del Monte were just lazy. I'm scheduling an appointment with them in a few weeks for another trial.
