Officiant cancelling?

I'm hearing vague stories about an officiant (possibly more than one?) cancelling some upcoming weddings but can't find out who the officiant is.  Has anyone else heard anything about this or had first hand experience being cancelled?  Who is the officiant?

    I think nrskrs may have had some similar issues w/ their original officiant (I believe it was Bill Proud), but I want to say it wasn't so much as canceling as it was double booking.  Maybe she will respond to this w/ a little bit better clarification.

    Hi, yes Bill didn't cancel on me.  We booked him in January and another bride booked after us on the same date.  Not a problem but our ceremony time is 5:30 and the next wedding was at 7.  I personally feel a little too close together.  To top it off, he had a wedding on Friday and booked the other couple's rehearsal dinner after that wedding (that's when our rehearsal dinner was supposed to take place) so he then told us we woudn't get a rehearsal with him.  So, to be blunt, I felt he basically screwed us over and I let him go.
