Amazing Wedding Venue... Check it out!

If anyone is looking for a beautiful wedding venue you should definitely check out Windows on the Green at the Westwood Country Club...  I had booked my wedding here but am not longer getting married sooo... yeah.  

Anyways, it is available September 1st, which in my opinion is a fantastic date, and it is stunningly beautiful.  You get the entire place to yourself, the food is out of this world, and the people are incredibly accommodating and personable.  They will seriously hook you up with whatever you need to make your day exactly what you want.

Definitely check this place out.  I am not totally selfless in posting this, as if someone books Sept 1st I get my deposit back, which would be great, but I also wanted to let you lovely ladies know about it becuase it is an incredible venue and one that is not always mentioned.

I agree that this a great place for a reception! One of my good friends had her wedding reception there last summer and it was a really nice space with a really great patio and firepit we had access to all night.  You're right that not a lot of people seem to know about this place- it is kind of "under the radar" for some reason, but you don't have to be a member to have your event there and the prices are actually really reasonable.  My friend was very happy with her wedding and had encouraged me to look into it for mine, but I already had my heart set on a downtown venue or else I would have definitely considered this spot. 

As a side note, I'm sorry to hear about your wedding and hope you are doing okay.  A friend of mine had her engagement called off this fall and it's been very hard to deal with, although she knows she is much, much better off.  Anyway, sending good vibes to you and hoping you find someone to fill your spot!

Thanks, Alison!  Your support and good vibes are very much appreciated!  I am SO much better off, and have actually never been happier than I am now.  I am not ready to get married, and calling off the wedding was truly a blessing in disguise.  I hope that someday I do find the right person, but until then I am just loving life and focusing on myself!

Seriously, ladies, check this place out.  The people there rock, the food is delicious, and it's beautiful.  You just can't go wrong!  (Just make sure you pick the right guy and you'll be all set!)

After reading your post and looking at the pictures online...I am very interested in this place. My FI and I already have a place on hold but are looking into a couple more place before we put down a deposit. I was wondering if you don't mind me asking, what did they quote you per person? The place we have on hold is quoting us $38 a person (and that includes 5 hr open bar)
