There's a lot of discussion on here about DIY invitations so I thought you all might benefit from this...I decided that I wanted to DIY my invites so my Mom and I had been looking in stores and magazines and had some ideas on the styles I wanted. A couple of months ago I went to Ollie's Bargain Outlet (it's a buyout place kind of like Big Lots) with my Mom (she's a huge bargain shopper), and they had tons of DIY wedding invitations. They ended up having the exact style of invitations I wanted for...$4.99 a box!!!! They are Anna Griffin brand, and they included 25 invitations with a foldover vellum sheet and ribbon to tie around them, response cards, and envelopes. I also got matching programs and STD's for $2.99 a box.But it gets better...about a week ago I went to Michael's, and they had the SAME EXACT invitations for $39.99 a box. The only difference was the packaging looked slightly different (I probably got last years version). They also had a ton of different styles at Ollie's. I actually had a difficult time deciding which one I was going to buy. I got them at the Ollie's in Lima, OH, but I just looked online, and there is a location in Forest Park...it's definitely worth checking out...you never know what you might find!
