Cake cost at the Radisson Scranton

I'm getting married at the Radisson this July. The bakery they were partnered with  burned down so I got a quote from  one of the bakers they are working with now called Truly Scrumptious. They quoted me 2,500 for 2 cakes! And the Radisson was only taking off $1 per piece of cake and I am having 200 quests. The old bakers quoted me $750. I just watch PLATINUM WEDDINGS and you can rent an elephant for 2,600! Anyway, I found my own baker, Frosted in Clark Summit and she is doing the cakes for around $1,000. Here is a pic of the cakes

    Man, cake is so expensive.  Glad you found something less expensive.

    My venue also took $1 off each person and then I bought cupcakes that were like $3 each but I loved.  Oh well.

    Oh I love Julie from Frosted!  http://www.justfrosted.com/ We are going with her as well :-)  Her brother-in-law is also our photographer - his work is amazing too if you are looking.  Your cakes look grogeous...congrats :-)
