Mom = MOH?

Is it wrong to have my mother be my MOH? I figure its acceptable and quite common for sisters to be MOH, so why not my mom? Thoguhts?

    check with your FI's family though.  If I was the mother of the groom, I would feel really weird seeing the other mom standing up front during the entire ceremony while i just sit and watch.
