Nepa Bridal Show

Hi everyone, my name is Hanna and I just started planning my wedding.  I was at the Nepa Bridal Show at got some great info.  Did anyone else check it out.?

Hello Hanna my name is Jen, I attended the bridal show today also and thought it had a lot of great info also... I was wondering if you possibly wrote down the names of the dresses they had in the fashion show, I absolutely fell in love with one that was there and wasn't able to get pics from where I was sitting.. I know I should probaly know it when I see it online but so many dresses look the same online :-/ so any help would be great :) thanks hope to hear back from you soon....

I know the designers shown were Maggie Sottero, Casablanca and Eden Bridals.  I do not know the names though.  I bought my dress from Elegant Bridal Boutique in Bartonsville (Fountain Court Plaza.)  Those women are amazing.  Every dress they pulled was just what I was asking for and I fell in love with a Marys Bridal gown. 
If you ladies have the opportunity to check out other bridal shows, please do.  The one at Mt. Airy yesterday did not compare to the others in the area recently. The ones hosted at the Chateau and Shawnee had a much better variety of vendors.

I was at the show as well, and I got some GREAT information!! Unfortunately I didn't stay for the bridal fashion show so i can't help with the dresses. sorry.  I definitely agree that there was very few vendors at this show. Anyone know of any other shows coming up.?

I just started my planning so I'm looking for everything. lol  Right now I am trying to narrow down on a venue.  I haven't lived in the Poconos for too long so I'm not really familiar with any vendors or venues. So far the only venues I found are the Skytop Lodge and Stroudsmooor Inn.   Any other suggestions.?

I've never been to Skytop, but I've heard nothing but good things.  Stroudsmoor is beautiful - I love it there!  Friends of ours are getting married this fall at Shawnee and I've heard great things from them.  I'm not too familiar with other venues in the Poconos - we stuck with the Bethlehem area for our venue search.  I'm sure other ladies on this board can give some more recommendations.

I'm not sure where in the Poconos you are but Ehrhardt's Waterfront Resort on Lake Wallenpaupack is stunning! Their rates are very reasonable and the food is amazing! HTH.

I picked a venue that isn't far from mount airy, the owner was at the bridal show that day the place is called famuralo's... I wanted an outdoor ceremony and a place to that was simple yet romantic and that place had what we wanted... It is family owned and run they only have one event a day so they can focus directly on you and your wedding... There's a magazine that they were handing out at the bridal show and I'm sure if you google it you could find it if up don't have it, they have a few pages in there that lists a lot of venues thru put nepa.. I'm not sure which show you are referring to, but I do know that in the Valley there is the B104 Bridal Showcase as well as the Lehigh Valley Bridal Show. If you go to

www.lehighvalleywedding.com/category/bridal-shows/

there are still some dates left for this summer. If you try googling lehigh valley bridal shows you will get a ton of different sites with dates. I've been to a few and it seems in my area there are more vendors than in other areas. I also know that all of the vendors I met at these shows serve the entire NEPA area as well as NJ (some)
