Officiant Lois Heckman

hello ladies,
I am doing some officiant research, and I have come across Lois Heckman.  Does anyone have any experience with her?  Your input will be greatly appreciated.

i'm using her for our wedding this year!  i love her so far   She is a little pricey, but she will write you a VERY personalized ceremony.  we filled out a questionaire for her and then we met with her and she asked questions and took notes.  she sent us a full copy of the ceremony and then we can edit and go back and forth with her to make sure we are completely comfortable with what she says. 

If you are looking for something a little "non traditional" i think you will be pleased with her (for instance she said before i even had a chance to bring it up that she does not like 'giving away' the bride and she asked us how much "god" we want in things...)

So while we haven't had our ceremony yet, i'm very confident about things and i'm happy with our choice.  i forget to check this board often since it's not very active but happy to answer any other questions.

We booked her for our wedding and LOVE her so far! She has answered our questions  in person, and via email multiple times and has been so nice and understanding with everything we've had, that would have otherwise made things difficult for someone else. 
She has great suggestions to make things different and personalized for the look we're going for. 
 If you do book with her, tell her Gina and Rafael recommended you from the Sept. 4th wedding. I'd be happy to answer any more questions if you want too!

Off the top of my head what i remember is that she's asking both our parents to stand up and then saying something like "do you support this marriage?" and then both parents would say yes and then go sit down...

I know this is from a while ago, but for anyone looking for more recent comments on Lois, I just want to say that we used her for our July 2014 wedding and she was FANTASTIC!!!  Totally worth any fee concerns because people had wonderful things to say about our ceremony and Lois as an officiant.  She helped us create a unique, emotional, personal ceremony.  I highly recommend her services!!
