Vancouver Island Wedding Location Hunting

Hi everyone,

So my FI and I have decided that we want to keep the wedding small, cute and cozy.  We both love the Fall Season and so we figured that would be a perfect time for us to tie the knot.  I want to keep the wedding theme close to that season by using fall colours and a harvest theme (hay bails, gords, etc.) My idea location for the reception (and possibly the ceremony) would be an old rustic farm yard with a barn.  Such location is proving difficult to find and I was wondering if any of you out there have come across such a location?

I don't know of any farms, but my fiancee and I are getting married at Sea Cider (an apple cidery) and the building is shaped like a barn and very rustic. The apples will still be on the trees in the fall which makes a beautiful setting. Have you checked around in the Saanichton area?? There are a lot of farms in the area.

Starling Lane Winery is very rustic looking and has a gorgeous outdoor area for the ceremony!
