Powerpoint Dummy! NEED HELP

so I have been looking at templates for programs and most of the ones are made using powerpoint. My question is, how do you print front and back programs using 4 slides from powerpoint? Also, I found a template for my menu which is in Powerpoint and when I try to make a jpeg of it, it is waaay fuzzy. I want to bring both the program and menu to kinkos to print, but not sure if they can print what I need using a .ppt file or if the need another type of file. PLEASE HELP! I am sooo lost!

They should be able to print it directly from PowerPoint but sometimes their fonts might not be compatible (I used to work there). I would suggest taking both the native ppt as well as a PDF.

I took all of my printing there and they didnt need it in pdf, however, if you have special fonts, you might want to pdf this. they can assist with the front back. Its a printing setting that they will set for you when you go in.Good luck!

For the power point, it should be fairly easy to print on both sides.  They should be able to print one side then run it through again and print the other side. For converting to power point, I believe that when you convert other documents to pdf using Adobe Standard you can set the resolution.  As long as you use a high resolution it shouldn't look grainy.  We frequently convert Word and Power Point documents at work to pdf and the quality is great.

I have to use Adobe Standard to save it as a pdf (which is different than Adobe Acrobat).  I am not sure if you can save it as a pdf if you don't have this program.  If you have a scanner you should be able to print the power point off then scan it and it should be pdf.  If you can't save it as a pdf I would be happy to do it for you.  If you need me to email me at tb583 at hotmail dot com and I can convert it to pdf and send the file back to you.

You can also save it as a .JPG file, which is an image and will make sure that everything looks exactly as you made it.HOWEVER, REGARDLESS OF WHAT TYPE OF FILE YOU USE, go to Powerpoint and change your settings to 4 times the size you want to print it out. Otherwise, it will print grainy because it will not be at a high enough resolution. For example, if you want the programs to be 3"wide and 8" tall, you would change the dimension to 12" wide and 32" tall. They will still be able to print it to the size that you want, but it will be at a much higher resolution without you having to change anything else :-)

If you download PrimoPDF, you can "print" your files to a PDF file.  It's a free download.  I use it at work all the dang time!  email me if you have questions: gsusvs @ hotmail . com
