Ceremony Site-Edmonton (or Sherwood Park area)

Hey All! We have our ceremony site booked already but it has come to light that they don't allow pictures (even by the photograper). We are going to talk to them and see if we can have just a few pictures taken but will need to find a back up location if they won't bend. Any good ceremony venue reccomendations for the Edmonton/Sherwood Park area? Thanks!

We are getting married at McGrath Mansion in Edmonton. Its beautiful, located on the river valley and the ultimate picture taking place.
Its a tad pricey but it may be something to look into.

Google: McGrath Mansion, Edmonton. It will come up as a historical site but will provide you with the contact information.

I got married at McGrath Mansion about 2 months ago.  Its so beautiful there!  Guests arrived early to take some family pictures for themselves.  Its a stunning location, well worth the money.
I've also heard that the museum in Edmonton is really nice and you can do pictures there too.

Have you tried the Armory in Edmonton? My sister got married there. Ceremony and Reception all in the same place. Beautiful location

Sherwood park has Woodbridge Farms...which is just that a beautiful Red Wooden Bridge, I have done many engagement photos on that site! and its FREE

Some of these might have been listed, but here they are anyways:
Fairmont McDonald (all ballrooms and meeting rooms can also be booked for just the ceremony up to 6 months in advance without a reception), Devonian Botanical Gardens, Con Boland Gardens, Royal Alberta Museum, Art Gallery of Alberta (evenings only though), Shalom Park (in Leduc), and the below link showing some areas owned by the City of Edmonton: http://www.edmonton.ca/attractions_recreation/attractions/festivals_events/planning-a-wedding.aspx
