Caterers near Baltimore

Hi, does anyone have feedback on Hunt Valley Caterers?  My fiancé and I are getting married at the MD Zoo next September and they gave us a list of preferred caterers.  We have already ruled out Putting on the Ritz because the quote they gave us didn’t provide us with many options and it was more than we were hoping to pay per person.  Hunt Valley Caterers are extremely reasonably priced and their menu has more options.  If we hire a caterer not on the preferred list, we have to pay a larger security deposit.  Does anyone know of any really great caterers within the range of $30-$50 per person?

The other caterers on the preferred list include: Atlantic Caterers, Accomac Catering, ROUGE Fine Catering, Sascha’s Catering, and the Classic Catering People.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!!

I haven't heard much about Hunt Valley Caterers.  We used Dean and Brown Catering and they were amazing.  They are generally about $35 pp plus service fees for staff and you bring your own alcohol.  The $35 pp includes the food, setup/cleanup, tablecloths, napkins, china and glassware which saves on rentals.

They worked with us to get a menu we loved while staying within our budget.  Terry takes care of pretty much everything the day of the wedding, she even came to tell us when to leave the bridal suite to process and I saw in pictures that she straightened my train for the grand entrance.

If Accomac Catering is out of Accomac Inn in Wrightsville, you might want to check them out as well.  Accomac Inn is one of the nicer restaurants in the York area and their food is great

I have used Atlantic Caterers and they were amazing!!

The food was awesome!! You can think of anything and they can get it for you.

They set up , and have everything  you need so you don't have to pay for tables, linens etc.

They also did many work events for my mother's business.

I looked into both Dean & Brown and Atlantic, but we found Bear Brothers Catering to be a bit cheaper and SOOOO easy to work with.  They are based in Catonsville.  They are superb!
