Help finding a waterfront vacation rental!

Hi All!

We have looked at so many venues, but feel that a wedding weekend at a vacation rental would really be the best option for us. We are open to the location, just really would love a house that has a lawn big enough for an outdoor ceremony and a tented recpetion. 

I've been looking on VRBO, but only found a couple that will allow weddings. Anybody have any ideas? We are looking for that hidden gem, that would truly be romantic and unique.

    hi there-
    i am having the same issue!
    i have been searching for months now and can not find anything simple, beautiful and on the water.
    everything is either part of a big wedding parade factory (ie: herrington, chesapeake bay beach club) or its pretty but not on the water.

    i really wanted to get married at a beautiful house on the water in annapolis, but that doesn't exist...you can't rent a house and have a wedding...its against county ordnance. so now i am debating on whether or not to get married at my fiance's father's house that is on the water but about 20 min from annapolis.

    i have a HUGE list of venues that i have seen, if you want to see them let me know.
    also have you considered any inns in st michael's or southern maryland?
