Ceremony & Reception Sites Booked!

Nick and I just booked our ceremony & reception sites on Monday. We will be saying our Vows at the Fullerton Arboretum and holding our reception at the Brea Community Center. I am so excited, booking these really made this feel real to me! Does anyone know of a knottie  that has held her reception at the Brea Community Center? The place is pretty much a blank slate, adn I am looking for budget friendly inspiration. Side note: We were originally planning on getting Married on 7/17/10, but someone swooped in on that date so we changed it to 7/31/10, which is why we booked these places early...I can't believe its over a year away and dates are flying off the calendar...crazy.

My brother actually works at the center and there are a lot of weddings done there. It looks really nice when it's all done up, and since it is a blank slate, you can do pretty much whatever you want! What room are you having it in?

Congrats on finding your location we were so happy once we found ours after that was out of the way everything else is easy. Have you decided who will be performing the ceremony

JoKelsiC, We are using the Community Hall, I am really looking forward to making that room our own for the evening. Now I just need to decide what I want it to look like, Marcv004, We really have not even thought of who will perform the ceremony. Idk

Congratulations! We booked our ceremony/reception venue on Monday. Our is October 2010, so we're getting a lot of crazy looks from people when they hear that we're looking for a vendor. But if you want the good, inexpensive ones, you have to get them early! It's worth a few sideways looks to get out of this having only spent $6,000!
