Hey has anyone used Candi Merle she makes custom viels. I've read she'll make you at less cost them if you were to buy one. Some have said they were priced from 35-75 for viels with lace or crystals so pretty much whatever you want and she gets them back to you less then 2 weeks. She is one of the vendors from project wedding.

    Everything you've heard about her are true! She is fantastic! I've been on the boards for almost 4 years and I've never heard a bad word about her. If you want more peace of mind, post on the LA boards. I swear, almost every bride on there has used Candi. As a point of reference, I was planning from out of state so we did everything by email. With the help of inspiration photos, she produced exactly what I wanted for $29!

    I paid 55 dollars for my veil and it was absolutely amazing and she was able to do it in just under 2 weeks. The one I like at the bridal boutique was 375 dollars and only had lace. My dress is lace with some beading so she added beading to the veil as well and it turned out great. She is also the nicest person and was super fun to work with. You can tell that she loves to help brides and really loves what she does!

    Does she hand sew them or does she glue items on or both. Does it depend on what the bride is looking for.

    I can't answer your question about the beading and lace, since I had a pretty simple veil (very similar to Chiweewee's).  But I can vouch for her...she is amazing and the nicest lady!  The veil I wanted was over $200 at the bridal salon and she recreated it for only $35.  Love her!
