make-up for engagement pics?

Did any of you have your makeup done for your e-pics? Or have you ever gone to the mall and had someone at the make-up counter do it? I was thinking of giving it a try. My e-session is this Sunday.

i had my makeup done by the girl who did my makeup for the wedding. didn't want to risk anything.

Ditto to what Reesey said.  I suck at doing my own makeup so I had the same girl who is doing my wedding day makeup do it for my e-pics.

hmm I haven't picked who that is going to be yet! My wedding is still 8 months out.

Chanel make up so superb! Go to one of their counters in So. Coast Plaza. Mac can be a little cakey

I used my trial run make up for the e-pics.  Just schedule it earlier the same day.

The girls at the counters are pretty great and if you tell them what it is for when you walk up they are will prob. give you the best person on hand. You can go to your usual makeup counter because it is nice if you purchase something for their work.

I actually had a fee sessions, one was in Santa Barbara and I didn't want to spend a forture on someone I wouldn't be using again. I went t the mall explained my situation to one of the girls and she was totally helpful. I also had my makeup done in OC at a Nordstrom for another session we did in Laguna. The girl there actually said she would do a free trial with me since she does makeup wedding on the side as well. I think the mall is a good option. Just let them know what you like and don't like, also check out how they wear their own makeup and see if you like their styel etc.GL!
