No reservation/deposits?? (La Habra, CA)

My fiance and I are paying for everything ourselves and would like to find a park or garden area that does not need a deposit or reservation... any suggestions? Thank you! -Jennifer

i dont have any suggestions other than you may want to have a reservation depending on when you're thinking about getting married. it would be really sad to plan everything with no reservations, and then on the big day not be able to get married because some other event is going on because you didn't want to have it reserved for you. just something to think about. our deposit was only $500.. so there are places that have minimal deposits.

If you decide on a public area such as a park or a beach, it is worth it to pay the permit fee to insure that you will not be chased off. I know of a bride who assumed that she could have her (tiny) ceremony on the patio of her ocean front hotel room. They told her there was a $2,000 charge. She and her groom went down to the beach and they followed her and again told her no. Plan ahead. Almost all hotels, beaches, parks and museums charge for this service.
