6am                       -              Bridesmaids breakfast & getting ready in bridal suite: Jamie starts

8am                       -              Florist arrives with bouquets and bouts

8:30am                 -              Pictures at the Marriott

9:15am                 -              Leave for Park Savoy

9:30am                 -              Bride & Groom/Bridal party/Family pictures

11:00am               -              Relax in bridal suites

11:20am               -             Line up for processional

11:30am               -              Ceremony starts

12:00pm               -              Cocktail hour

1:00pm                 -              Guests seated for bridal party entrance and first dance

1:10pm                 -              Grand entrance

1:15pm                 -              First dance

1:20pm                 -              Dinner

2:15pm                 -              Toasts, cake cutting, cake serving

2:40pm                 -              Father/daughter dance

2:45pm                 -              Mother/son dance

2:50pm                 -              Dancing for everyone!

3:10pm                 -              Garter toss

3:15pm                 -              Bouquet toss

3:30pm                 -              Fried oreos & ice cream               

4:30pm                 -              Start to say good bye & take shuttles back to hotel

5:30pm                 -              After party at the pool…all bets are off!

    Ooo.. I like this. My ceremony is also at 11:30! My biggest concern however is hair and makeup.. but I don't see this specified on there. How long is yours going to take and what is your time frame for that? I'm personally worried because my stylist said 2 hours for H&MU but I have to travel to and from her salon. Grr.

    Hair & Makeup timeline is causing me so much anxiety! I have 10 people getting makeup and 8 getting hair done (my sister-in-law will be doing my and her mother's hair). This is what I have below, but it is done with 2 makeup artists (I currently have 2 but I work in the industry so getting a 3rd shouldnt be difficult). I can extend the getting ready time a bit, but I wanted hair and makeup done by 8:30 and I also wanted to make sure to leave some extra time there for my friends (because I know them all too well...).

  • I keep confusing myself with the hair/makeup schedule too because it would be better for girls to have hair before makeup, but whenever I try to change things around I get confused. I want everyone done by 8:30, 8:45 the latest, and I wanted to leave some extra time just in case...

    Wow that's great! I'm guessing they're going to you? My salon is opening at their earliest 7am and it freaks me out. She says after the trial she'll only need 2 hours, but I have to factor in travel time so I'm really worried too.

    You look fine though, you have plenty of relax and before pictures time. If anything goes wrong, you could always cut a tiny bit out of that.

    Soo what time are you planning on waking up?? It's looking like 5:30 for me and I'm not excited haha
  • Thanks! I seriously only started looking at this today, but I've been inwardly freaking out about it for the past few hours haha I feel like the closer the wedding gets, the more insane I get.

    I know! I think mine will be about 5:30 too. I'm seriously not happy either, but I'll make all my friends get up that early as well. Hopefully they can cheer me up (along with a cup of coffee and a cocktail haha).

    My prep team is coming to me at the hotel. The makeup artist is an old friend of mine who is very successful in the industry so she, her hair stylist partner, and their 2 assistants will be coming. I'll have to talk to her about adding in the 3rd to make it all less rushed.

    Hopefully the adrenaline throughout the day will keep us awake!

  • 9:30am Make up and hair arrives

    12pm Lighting arrives for set up

    2pm Bartender set up

    3pm Photographer arrives, Pastor arrives, DJ arrives

    3:30pm Groom and Groomsmen pictures

    4:-430pm Ceremony Starts (I dont see it starting at EXACT 4pm although I would like it to)

    4:30-5:30pm Cocktail hour,  Bride and groom pictures, family pictures, Bridesmaids pictures

    5:30pm Introduction, immediatly into first dance.

    6:00-7:00pm Dinner

    7:15pm these are all back to back, father daughter dance, mother son dance, garter toss, bouquet toss, cake

    7:45pm Dancing, mingling etc.

    10:30pm Last call no more drinks after 10:45pm

    11pm Last dance.

  • Your timeline looks good, but I didn't see time for a receiving line or go around and greet your guests at their tables?

  • Thanks Carla! We won't be doing a receiving line as we'll be getting married at the same place as the reception and the transition is literally stand up and move to the patio and adjoining cocktail room. I hadn't thought to plan a time to greet guests, but that would be good. When do you suggest to do that?

  • We are being served first and everyone will go to the buffet, so we will go around to each table after we eat and they are still eating.
