Name Change/License Renewal

I have never had to renew my driver's license before, so I'm not 100% sure of how to go about that...however...my license expires in July 2010.  I'm getting married in May.  Can I renue early at the same time as changing my name?  Or do I need to stand in line for a million hours twice?

    just to renew your license you do not need to stand in line. i always have done mine by mail.. and usually they send you the renewal letter a couple months before, so you should be able to take care of it all in one shot at the dmv.

    You should be able to renew your license when you do your name change.  Normally, they send out the renewal letters that far in advance anyway.

    Perfect!  I'm also assuming that change of address (moving to new place this spring) can be handled at the same time?
