Cake Suggestions

Hello fellow brides!

I've been looking up wedding cake shops for our wedding in April 2012. And although they all look very pretty, I'm not quite sure how well they taste. I don't have the time to try out every shop as I live in SF. However, I will be coming down next weekend so I thought it would be nice to head on over to some shops for a little tasting.

Any suggestions? :)

    Beverly's Best in Brea is fantastic.  I also love French's Bakery (there are several locations - Orange, Lake Forest, Irvine - I think).  We went with Beverly's for our wedding cake and it got rave reviews.

    I always get my cakes at the Great Dane Bakery in Huntington Beach.  I have heard great reviews from Rossmoor Bakeries in Long Beach/Cypress.

    I tasted cakes at Simply Sweet Cakery and Heidelberg Bakery, both in Laguna Hills. They were delicious! I would recommend either one, but we ended up going with Heidelberg Bakery. Good luck!
