Cannons Seafood Grill reception venue

My fiancé and I are thinking of having our wedding reception at Cannons Seafood Grill in Dana Point, Ca. I was wondering if anyone has used them or is in the process of using them and how their experience was/is? Any advice or references to people you know who have had their event there are greatly appreciated!! Thank you!

I got a quote from them and it seemed a little stiff. I'd like to hear about experiences as well. I'd be a little more open to it if not for the fact that it is 22 miles south from our ceremony venue.

A good friend of mine worked as the wedding coordinator there a few years ago. From what I have seen its AMAZING! Yes, they will be pricey and the city of Dana Point is strict anyways but it is soooo worth it. I have seen numerous weddings here and they have all been LOVELY! (I'm also biased b/c I love the food there and they have a great happy hour )

I personally feel they were a great price considering the food and the location. We almost did ours there..but my fiance wanted the ceremony somewhere else and we ended up finding another venue. I thought the wedding coordinator was cool and willing to work with us and our budget.

Thank you all for your input! We're actually decided to have our reception there! It should be fun! Now we just need to figure out how we can get married at St. Edwards...haha
